Each car rental company has its own age requirements, but most will rent to people aged between 21 and 69, although it can vary depending on the rental company. If you're under 26, you are likely to have to pay a young driver fee.

The main driver needs these four documents to be able to collect the car (all must be original documents and in the drivers' name): a credit card with embossed numbers and sufficient credit to cover the deposit amount and any extras, passport or ID card, full driving license and the rental voucher.

For most offers on our website you will be required to leave a security deposit when you collect the car. As long as you bring the car back undamaged at the end of the rental, the money will be unblocked / returned.

The voucher is the confirmation of your booking. It contains your booking number and all the information you will need to pick up your car.

Please note you will need to bring your voucher to the pick up office to be able to collect your car. We suggest you print it out to speed up the pick up process.

The fuel policy determines how you will pay for the fuel for your rental car and whether you will have to refill the tank or not before dropping off the car. You can see each car’s fuel policy clearly by its description.

We are never able to confirm the make, model or color of the car you will receive. Your booking isn’t associated with a specific vehicle (make or model, color, equipment etc) but is for a group of vehicles with similar characteristics. In the event that the requested group is not available you will be given a vehicle from a higher group at no extra cost.

If you want to return the vehicle to a different office than the one it was collected from you need to choose the ‘one way’ option when making your booking. To do this you need to unclick the ‘Return the car to the same location’ box and select where you’d like to return the car. Our search engine will automatically inform you if the route you have chosen is possible. The hire company normally charges a ‘one-way’ fee for returning the car to a different office. If this is the case, it is explained in the conditions before booking and again on the rental voucher.

All rentals must have Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection which are included with the car when you book it and are often subject to an excess.
